After the NDRC, the Energy Bureau and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Development of Smart Energy+Internet Industry in February 2016, the China Machinery Industry Federation took active action, based on the equipment industry, in-depth industry research, and gradually formed the working idea of "using intelligent energy (energy) equipment to serve the development of energy Internet, and using industrial enterprises as the soil to promote the implementation of energy Internet projects", Received positive responses from a wide range of industry enterprises and institutions.
On this basis, the China Machinery Industry Federation actively prepared for the establishment of the "Energy Internet Equipment and Technology Branch". After careful preparations and rigorous organizational procedures, the establishment of the branch has been approved, and the branch's founding meeting will be held at the China Science and Technology Hall in Beijing on the afternoon of April 27, 2017.
The "Energy Internet Equipment and Technology Branch" has nearly 80 sponsors, covering many industries, such as electric power, electrical appliances, petroleum and petrochemical, new energy, general machinery, energy conservation and environmental protection, instrumentation, automobiles, internal combustion engines, machine tools, engineering machinery, informatization, cloud computing and big data, and the Internet of Things. It is fully representative of the industry. At the same time, the branch also has a group of well-known expert leaders in the industry, who will provide sufficient intellectual support for the development of the branch.
After the establishment of "Energy Internet Equipment and Technology Branch", it will take "Energy Internet Technology Equipment" as the starting point, and carry out in-depth work around "two fields and three levels":

The work of the branch mainly includes: first, building an industry service platform (innovation and development of backbone network equipment and technology) for enterprises providing technical equipment for global energy Internet construction and energy Internet backbone network construction; The second is to provide an industry service platform for the interconnection of energy Internet terminal equipment (energy micro network construction and innovation and development of related equipment).
2. Three levels of work
Policy level: Provide industry policy recommendations and support to related institutions such as the Energy Bureau, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and power grid companies, and coordinate policy projects with relevant ministries and commissions;
Industry level: provide industrial services such as policy research, planning, standard formulation, quality testing, brand building, education and training, consulting services, and international exchanges for enterprises in the energy Internet equipment and technology industry;
Market level: jointly promote the implementation of application projects with enterprises in the energy Internet industry, and explore the technical routes and business models under different application scenarios (industrial enterprises, parks, business districts, residential areas and other different application scenarios).
